Many companies participate in 1% for the Planet, a fantastic initiative that encourages businesses to donate 1% of their annual sales to environmental causes. Moss Apparel is a proud member of this network, but we didn’t want to stop at the minimum. We decided to take it a step further.
We donate 10% of our wildlife conservation proceeds directly to our non-profit partners, so every purchase helps fund real conservation work.
When you purchase an item from the Bimini Shark Lab Collection, you are funding critical research on the Great Hammerhead shark. When you wear a piece from the Bee and Butterfly Habitat Fund, you are helping restore the pollinator habitats that sustain our global food supply.

TWO TREES PER ORDER: MANGROVES IN KENYA
For every single order placed on our site, we plant two mangrove trees in Kenya. We partner with EarthLungs Reforestation Foundation and veritree to ensure these trees are planted, monitored, and protected.

Plastic pollution is one of the greatest threats to marine life. It’s estimated that by 2050, there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish by weight. This is unacceptable.
To combat this, Moss Apparel has partnered with Plastic Bank and GoodAPI. For every order, we remove 10 plastic water bottles from the environment. These bottles are intercepted before they reach the ocean, often in communities where plastic waste is a significant economic and environmental burden.
This "ocean-bound" plastic is collected, processed, and recycled, creating a circular economy that rewards local collectors and keeps our waters clean for the species we celebrate in our Wildlife Shirts.
