I created Moss Apparel to bring real wildlife photography into everyday life.
For kids, a great animal shirt can do more than add color to a wardrobe. It can prompt questions, spark curiosity, and make conservation feel personal.
My Youth Apparel Collection is built for active days, growing kids, and families who want comfortable wildlife apparel with a clear purpose. These three youth wildlife tees move from the ocean to the desert, offering a shark, a coyote, and a stunning Southwest landscape as starting points for conversations about the natural world.

A Shark Tee That Starts With Wonder
Great Hammerhead, Shark Fun, Moss Apparel, Unisex Youth Cotton T-Shirt is the hero of this collection for a simple reason: sharks make kids curious.
The great hammerhead design is bold, memorable, and easy to talk about. A child may start with a basic question: “Why does its head look like that?”: and quickly move toward bigger ideas about ocean health, marine habitats, and why sharks matter.
I want this tee to feel fun first. Then, when a conversation naturally follows, it can become a small reminder that the ocean is full of species worth understanding and protecting.
Built for Everyday Adventures
This youth cotton T-shirt is made from 5.3 oz. 100% USA-grown cotton. It has a soft, breathable feel that works for school days, outdoor play, family trips, and weekends outside.
I also focused on the details that matter when kids wear a shirt repeatedly:
- Seamless ribbed neck
- Taped shoulder-to-shoulder construction
- Double-needle stitching throughout
- Tear-away label for comfort
- Youth sizes XS–XL
- White, Black, Navy, and other available youth cotton tee shades
The construction is practical. The design is playful. The subject opens the door to meaningful conversations about sharks and ocean conservation without making the shirt feel like a lesson.

A Coyote With Personality
The Silly Coyote, Moss Apparel, Youth Ultra Cotton T takes a lighter approach. The design uses playful coyote humor to make a familiar North American animal feel approachable and fun.
That matters. Kids often connect with wildlife through personality before they connect with ecology. A funny expression or unexpected moment can lead to questions about where coyotes live, how they adapt, and what role wild animals play in shared landscapes.
I like this tee for children who enjoy animal humor, desert wildlife, and designs that invite a second look. It works as kids conservation clothing without feeling overly serious.
The Youth Ultra Cotton T is made from 100% preshrunk jersey-knit cotton at 6 oz. It has a classic unisex fit and durable construction for regular wear. The details include:
- Seamless double-needle 3/4-inch collar
- Taped neck and shoulders
- Double-needle sleeve and bottom hems
- Tear-away label
- CPSIA Tracking Label compliant
- Machine washable
- Youth sizes XS–XL
- White and Black options, along with other listed colors
For families, the machine-washable fabric and reinforced hems make this a straightforward choice. For kids, the coyote design brings the personality.

Desert Light, Open Space, and a Big View
The Sunset on Joshua Tree Boulders, Moss Apparel, Youth Ultra Cotton T shifts the focus from one animal to an entire landscape.
The desert Southwest has a strong visual identity: warm light, textured rock, open skies, and silhouettes that change as the sun moves. I wanted this youth wildlife tee to carry that sense of space in a simple, wearable design.
A landscape can start a different kind of conservation conversation. What lives in a desert? How do plants and animals find water? Why do rocks, soil, and open habitats matter? Kids do not need all the answers at once. They only need a reason to start looking more closely.
This Youth Ultra Cotton T uses the same practical construction as the coyote tee:
- 100% preshrunk jersey-knit cotton
- 6 oz. fabric
- Classic unisex fit
- Seamless double-needle 3/4-inch collar
- Taped neck and shoulders
- Double-needle sleeve and bottom hems
- Tear-away label
- CPSIA Tracking Label compliant
- Machine washable
- Youth sizes XS–XL
- White, Black, and Sports Grey options
The result is comfortable youth apparel with a landscape design that feels calm, distinctive, and connected to the American West.

Three Designs. Three Conservation Conversations.
I see these tees as easy conversation starters:
The shark
A shark can help kids talk about ocean ecosystems, animal behavior, and why protecting marine life matters. The Great Hammerhead, Shark Fun, Moss Apparel, Unisex Youth Cotton T-Shirt gives that conversation an immediate visual focus.
The coyote
A coyote can introduce the idea that wildlife shares space with people. The Silly Coyote, Moss Apparel, Youth Ultra Cotton T keeps the tone approachable while encouraging kids to think about wild animals and changing habitats.
The desert landscape
A desert scene can help children notice that conservation includes more than individual animals. The Sunset on Joshua Tree Boulders, Moss Apparel, Youth Ultra Cotton T creates space to talk about landscapes, water, weather, plants, and the habitats that support life.
These are simple starting points. A walk, a book, a museum visit, or a question at dinner can take the conversation further.
Apparel With a Clear Purpose
Moss Apparel connects wildlife apparel with conservation support. 10% of profits are donated quarterly to conservation partners working in wildlife conservation, habitat protection, and ocean restoration. You can read more on the Nonprofit Partnerships page.
The goal is direct: create high-quality clothing featuring wildlife and landscapes, then help support the natural places and species that inspire the work.
For parents, that means a durable shirt with a mission behind it. For kids, it means they can wear an animal or landscape they love and share that interest with others.
Choose a Youth Wildlife Tee
The Youth Apparel Collection is a practical place to start when you are looking for youth wildlife tees, kids conservation clothing, or comfortable nature-inspired gifts.

ROBERT MOSS
For me, nature photography begins with respect. I believe the best wildlife photographs come from observing rather than interfering: by allowing an animal, landscape, or moment to exist naturally and being patient enough to capture it as it unfolds. My goal is not simply to photograph wildlife, but to create images that convey the character, beauty, scale, and vulnerability of the natural world.
From wildlife encounters to remote landscapes and underwater environments, I am drawn to moments that remind us how extraordinary the wild still is. I approach each photograph with the intention of keeping the scene authentic, preserving the natural behavior of the subject and the atmosphere of the place.
That philosophy carries through to Moss Apparel and Moss Fine Art. The photographs are not only meant to be seen; they are intended to create a greater connection with the places and species they represent. Conservation is at the heart of that mission because this approach becomes harder each year as the world changes, wildlife numbers decline, and natural spaces are threatened.
Through Moss Apparel and Moss Fine Art, 10% of profits support nonprofit organizations working in wildlife conservation, habitat protection, and ocean restoration. My hope is simple: create photographs that bring people closer to nature while helping protect the wild places and wildlife that made those photographs possible.
